Black Point is eco-friendly

Ecology accompanies us every day. It manifests itself not only in our recycling activities or customer education. This year, together with Klub Gaja, we will plant another 1,200 trees throughout Poland.

For some, being eco-friendly is a temporary fashion, for us it is a motto that we follow every day. And we are not afraid to talk about it out loud! Why? Because we walk the talk. First of all, we focus on recycling. Together with Eco Service, which operates within our Capital Group, we collect used containers for printers, and together we initiate pro-social and pro-ecological local activities. Thanks to the company’s operations, millions of tons of empty cartridges are reused instead of ending up in landfills. We believe that giving them a second life helps save our planet. And we don’t stop there.

Sustainable production

But let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. We don’t want used products to end up in the garbage, or worse, in the oceans, so we reuse them. And we have been doing it for nearly 30 years. Thanks to modern technology, we use empty cartridges to produce new ones. And you know what’s the best part of it? The quality and reliability are the same as the ones of products by the printer manufacturer, and our performance is second to none. Impossible? Yet true. Additionally, each Black Point product receives a lifetime guarantee. For us, however, the most important thing is that the reuse of cartridges reduces CO2 emissions by 45-60%. It also saves costly natural resources such as aluminum, oil and timber. Thanks to this approach, the problem of waste from consumables simply disappears!

Education is essential

Recycling is very important, but it wouldn’t be possible without our customers. It is them who provide us with the raw materials, thanks to which we can produce „new” printer cartridges. And all as part of the Eco-partner program, thanks to which you can give us empty products completely free of charge. All you need to do is provide us with an empty container that you no longer need and we will make sure that it ends up in the right place and is reused. Who knows, maybe it will get in your hands again? J

But that’s not all. For us, each returned cartridge is not only an ecological product, but also means new trees. And all due to cooperation with the oldest organization working for the protection of the environment in Poland – Klub Gaja. We have been collecting empty printer cartridges together for several years. Each donated cartridge supports the purchase of tree seedlings, and the used containers are turned into new products. Thanks to our joint commitment, we managed to plant over 27 thousand trees, and this year we feel like reaching more! As you can see, recycling means more than just reusing raw materials for us. It is a process which consists of many elements, but the effect  in a form of new products and trees is something that we find highly rewarding.
